How to get the Target ID?
This guide can be used to assist the user to get their machine’s Target ID.
Follow the following procedures to obtain the Target ID
Download and extract the contents of the ZIP file named ‘DSLicTarget120.zip’ using this link to the computer on which you will install the license server.
Note:Â You might need to turn firewall off to be able to see the extracted folder.
Open Command Prompt (CMD) by typing ‘cmd’ in the start menu as shown below.
Change directory in the CMD to your extracted directory using the following command: cd ‘UsersLenovoDesktop’.
Note:Â Your command might differ than the given above depending on your extraction directory.
Run the following command to identify the Computer ID: DSLicTarget.exe –t. Then copy the Target ID from this section:
